Its almost potato harvest season here in Mid Canterbury, which means we need injury free, healthy people to work on a harvester (towed by a tractor) to grade potatoes as they are dug up from the paddock. These positions are full time 30 – 50 hours per week – but please be aware it is weather dependant.

The main harvest season runs from Mid March to the end of May (approx.) and we have positions available for full days and nights.

Approximate hours of work available are:

• Day shift starting between 5am & 9am running for 6 to 12 hours
• twilight shift 4pm to 1am (finish time is flexible to fit with factory requirements)
• Night shift 6pm to 4am (finish time is flexible to fit with factory requirements)

To be considered you must have:

• Good attention to detail and hand eye co-ordination
• A positive attitude, team spirit and flexibility
• A drivers license and your own reliable transport would place your application at an advantage, however, is not essential for this position.

Applicants for this position MUST have:

• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa, be drug free and willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test.
• Ministry of Justice and ACC checks apply.
