Compliance Administrator
Reporting to the Business Compliance Manager, the Compliance Administrator will play a key role in ensuring our client’s business meets all regulatory, health and safety, and environmental obligations. You’ll help manage internal systems, maintain accurate records, and support the compliance function across a variety of civil construction projects.
This is a full time role with preferred working hours 8.00am – 5.00pm, however there may be some flexibility for the right candidate. You will initially be employed on a temporary contract however there is a high chance a permanent offer will be made should it be mutually agreeable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance documentation and registers
- Assist in preparing reports, audits, and prequalification documents for clients and regulators.
- Track staff licenses, training, and certifications to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Support site compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Coordinate the review and updating of company policies and procedures.
- Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions tracking.
- Liaise with internal departments and external auditors or inspectors as required.
- Provide general administrative support to the compliance and HSE teams.
About you:
- Experience in a compliance, administrative, or document control role (preferably within construction, civil or earthworks).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a strong eye for detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and compliance management software
- Understanding of Health and Safety and environmental regulations is an advantage.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
