Office Junior
We are looking for an Office Junior to work in our Timaru branch. The position is full time, working 45 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5.30pm. You may be a school leaver or looking to have a change and carve out your new career path. Our client is committed to your professional development, full training alongside an incredibly support small team.
The position we are looking to fill is for a person with good communication and who is able to use a keyboard coupled with basic admin skills. This role will also include some work in their factory in relation to Fire Restoration and cleaning – cataloguing plus potential off site work assisting with clean up, as well as a portion of office work. You will need to be flexible with being assigned to either role on a day-by-day basis as the schedule changes by the hour.
To be successful in this role you need to be reliable, conscientious, and a willingness to be flexible in order to support other administration duties.
The position requires applicants to have:
- Good communication skills with a confident phone manner
- Consistent prior work history (if relevant)
- Flexible with day to day tasks
- A current clean driver’s license
Duties include:
- Customer service
- Data entry and record keeping
- Providing cleaning duties and admin support in other areas of the business
This position will initially begin as a temporary role with the intention for it to become permanent if mutually agreed.
You will need to undergo a pre-employment drug test, complete a Ministry of Justice check and provide 2 x recent references.
