Factory Quality Controller
Our client, a leading manufacturer of plastic pipes, is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Quality Controller to join their dynamic team in Ashburton. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to make a long-term career in a well-established company, with the potential for permanent employment after proving reliability.
Position: Quality Controller (Day Shift)
Location: Ashburton
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:15 pm
Type: Ongoing temporary role with the intention of becoming permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing of materials and accurately record data
- Set up and monitor plastics machines to ensure smooth operatio
- Perform quality assurance tests in the la
- Work closely with the manufacturing team to identify opportunities for improving production and ensuring quality standards
The Ideal Candidate:
- Basic knowledge of machinery and an understanding of machine operation
- A team player with excellent communication skill
- Physically fit and able to work in a hands-on environmen
- Great attention to detail and strong written English skills are essentia
- Previous experience in quality control or a manufacturing setting is advantageous, but not essential
