Apprentice / Trainee Glazier – Timaru
We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established Timaru business looking for an Apprentice or Trainee Glazier to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to learn a skilled trade.
You don’t need glazing experience to apply. We’re also keen to hear from people with experience in construction, joinery, aluminium, carpentry, engineering, automotive trades, or other practical, hands-on industries.
What you’ll be doing:
- Learning all aspects of residential and commercial glazing
- Installing and replacing glass products
- Measuring, cutting, and fitting glass
- Working alongside experienced tradespeople
- Providing excellent service to customers
- Following health and safety procedures
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Enjoys physical, hands-on work
- Is reliable and eager to learn
- Has good attention to detail
- Can work well as part of a team
- Holds a full driver’s licence (or is working towards one)
