🚛 Class 2/4 Delivery Driver / Yard Person
If you want to get paid to drive around the countryside – then this could be the job for you!

The weekly schedule is generally:

• Monday: Central Otago
• Tuesday: Central Otago / Yard
• Wednesday: Christchurch / Yard
• Thursday: Yard
• Friday: Christchurch
• Days and duties may vary depending on operational requirements.

The role includes:

• Delivery runs throughout Central Otago, Christchurch and the Mackenzie District
• Loading and unloading freight
• General yard duties
• Forklift operation and material handling
• Some loader operation
• Loading the hopper with wood chip
• General upkeep of vehicles, equipment and the yard
• Working safely and efficiently as part of a team

About you:

• Current Class 2 or Class 4 licence
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
• Good work ethic and positive attitude
• Comfortable with hands-on work
• Forklift and/or loader experience is an advantage
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
