Senior Accounts Professional
We’re looking for a Senior Accounts & Admin Professional to join our busy well established, locally owned and operated Retail outlet in Ashburton.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has the experience outlined below and has the desire to grow their skills into a key financial role. You will have an Admin Support person reporting directly to you to assist with general office duties.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing Accounts Payable/Receivable and cash book reconciliation
- Running the monthly creditors payment process
- Preparing end-of-month reports
- Preparing, lodging, and paying all IRD returns
- Managing payroll and wages
- Invoicing and managing supplier rebates
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:
- A minimum of 2 years of New Zealand experience in an accounts or office management role
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Proficiency with Xero
Experience with a financial or accounting background, along with a history of interacting with directors, banks, and accountants, will be a distinct advantage. To register your interest, please apply now with your current CV and a cover letter.
