Traffic Management Support Staff
Ready for a role that keeps you moving and never gets boring?
We’re on the lookout for motivated, hands-on people who like to take initiative, don’t mind early starts or the occasional night shift, and are happy working outdoors in all weather conditions. If you’re reliable, switched on, and enjoy being part of a team that keeps our roads safe and moving, this could be for you.
A minimum NZ Restricted Driver Licence is required.
No two days in Traffic Control are ever the same. You could be setting up and packing down sites, laying out cones, assisting with pothole repairs, or managing traffic flow using stop/go lollipops or electronic traffic lights, with a strong focus on safety. This role suits someone with a moderate level of fitness, as you’ll be on your feet for most of the day.
Clear spoken English, strong communication skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure are essential, as you’ll be dealing with the public and working in a safety-critical environment.
To be considered, you must be a NZ resident or hold a valid work visa. Ministry of Justice checks apply, and you’ll need to provide two recent work references where possible.
