Forklift Operator

The role is primarily focused on forklift operation, with a minimal labor component. Your main responsibilities will involve the precision handling of a 3T forklift (short forks) in a busy yard and warehouse setting. Daily tasks include loading and unloading containers, scanning stock, palletising, and ensuring Handling Units are accurate. While the role is machine-focused, a high attention to detail and a commitment to strict health and safety standards are essential.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, offering a stable routine and your afternoons free.

We are looking for someone with an “old school” work ethic and a great sense of humor who relates naturally to truck drivers and colleagues alike. You should be a self-starter who sees what needs to be done and gets on with it without needing to be followed up. Reliability and punctuality are non-negotiable; we are looking for a high performer.

Key requirements include a current Forklift License/OSH Endorsement. You must be comfortable working in a cold-store environment.
