Experienced Farm Hand – Temporary Full-Time

This is a full-time temporary position with an immediate start. The duration is currently unknown – it could be a few weeks, a month, or potentially longer depending on seasonal requirements and your work ability.

Please note: This is not an entry-level role. Applicants must have previous farm hand and machinery operation experience and be confident working independently.

Duties include:

Tractor driving
Moving irrigators
Fertiliser spreading
General sheep and cattle work
Assisting with a range of day-to-day farm duties

Hours:

Monday to Friday
7:30am start until the day’s work is complete
Occasional weekend work may be required during busy periods

To be successful, you must:

Have previous farm hand experience (essential)
Be confident driving tractors and operating farm machinery
Able to use GPS and other technology
Hold a full, current driver’s licence
Heavy Traffic Licences would place your application at an advantage
Have experience working with sheep and cattle
Be physically fit, heathly and comfortable working outdoors
Have reliable transport to travel to the Barrhill area
Be reliable, hardworking, and able to work unsupervised
