Factory Manager
Our client is a pioneering company dedicated to unlocking the value of end-of-life waste plastics. Through innovative recycling processes and advanced manufacturing capabilities, they transform waste plastic into high-performance polymer resins and a range of quality products, including slipsheets, board, and mesh solutions.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Factory Manager to lead our manufacturing and recycling operations. This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and productive factory performance while driving continuous improvement across all operational areas.
The successful candidate will oversee production, maintenance, quality, and operational planning to ensure business objectives are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day factory operations – this is a hands-on role.
- Drive a strong culture of workplace health and safety.
- Ensure production targets, and quality standards are met.
- Monitor plant performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee maintenance planning and equipment reliability.
- Work closely with senior management to support business growth and operational excellence.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a Factory Manager, Operations Manager, or Manufacturing Manager role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience within manufacturing, recycling, plastics processing, or related industries is highly desirable but not imperative.
- Sound understanding of production planning, quality systems, and maintenance management.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and environmental responsibility.
