Our client, a leading manufacturer of plastic pipes, is seeking an enthusiastic Quality Controller to join their team in Ashburton. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to make a long-term career in a well-established company, with the potential for permanent employment after proven reliability.
Position: Quality Controller
Location: Ashburton
Type: Ongoing temporary role with the intention of becoming permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing of materials and accurately record data
- Set up and monitor plastics machines to ensure smooth operation
- Perform quality assurance tests in the lab
- Work closely with the manufacturing team to identify opportunities for improving production and ensuring quality standards
The Ideal Candidate:
- Basic knowledge of machinery and an understanding of machine operations
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- Physically fit and able to work in a hands-on environment
- Great attention to detail and strong written English skills are essential
- An interest in Quality Assurance
