SPRING HYBRID CROP STAFF – MID CANTERBURY
We’re recruiting for our Spring 2026 Hybrid Crop Crew, with work starting late September and continuing through the peak season in October.
The role
You’ll be part of a team working through hybrid seed crops across Mid Canterbury, identifying and removing unwanted plants. We’ll provide full training, so all you need is a good eye for detail and a willingness to learn.
No previous experience needed – full training provided!
We’re looking for people who:
- Can put in a solid day’s work
- Are reliable, fit and injury-free
- Have a good eye for detail
- Enjoy outdoor, active work
- Work well as part of a team
- Are willing to learn
- Take pride in doing a good job
No driver’s licence required.
You must be able to get yourself to our central Ashburton meeting point each day. A full NZ licence is an advantage but not essential.
WHO CAN APPLY?
We welcome applications from NZ Citizens, NZ Residents and people holding a valid New Zealand work visa that allows them to undertake this work.
