Fertiliser Shed Loader Operator – Sole Charge

This is a permanent sole-charge role suited to someone who is reliable, self-motivated and takes pride in getting the job done. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the fertiliser shed, so we’re looking for someone who can work independently, use their initiative and think ahead.

About the role:

• Operate a loader safely and efficiently
• Manage the day-to-day running of the fertiliser shed
• Load and handle fertiliser products
• Keep the shed, equipment and work areas tidy and organised
• Work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities
• Plan ahead and identify what needs to be done before it becomes an issue
• Deal confidently and professionally with customers, suppliers and drivers
• Be a positive and approachable representative of the business
• Follow health & safety procedures and maintain high standards at all times

• Has proven loader operating experience
• Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
• Is confident working sole charge
• Has plenty of initiative and is a forward thinker
• Is practical, organised and can problem-solve on the go
• Has a positive attitude and good work ethic
• Is a strong communicator and relates well to people from all walks of life
• Understands that as the face of the business, customer service and professionalism are important
• Can work without needing to be constantly supervised

Hours

Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm, however there may be times when additional hours are required outside of these hours, particularly during busy periods.
