Casual Class 5 Truck Drivers Wanted

If you’re a skilled operator who takes pride in safety, professionalism, and getting the job done right, we’d love to hear from you.

This is hands-on, active site work involving truck and trailer units, tip trucks, and working around heavy machinery including excavators, loaders, and dump trucks.

You’ll be operating in fast-paced civil environments where reliability, site awareness, and safe driving are critical. Work varies day-to-day and may include early starts, tight deadlines, and changing site conditions.

What you’ll need:

✔ Current, clean New Zealand Class 5 Driver Licence

✔ W,T,R Endorsements will place your application at an advantage

✔ Recent hands-on Class 5 driving experience (within the last 6–12 months preferred)

✔ Confidence working on active civil/construction sites

✔ Experience with tip trucks, truck & trailer units, or similar heavy vehicles

✔ Strong focus on health & safety at all times

✔ Ability to complete pre-start checks and basic documentation accurately

✔ Good communication and ability to follow site instructions

✔ Must pass pre-employment and ongoing drug & alcohol testing

Highly Desirable

WTR endorsements
Experience with dump trucks, earthmoving, or quarry work
Background in civil construction or roading crews
Ability to jump in and adapt to different sites quickly
