Are you a Qualified Electrician or a 2nd + Year Electrical Apprentice looking for your next opportunity? We’re recruiting on behalf of our client for motivated and reliable team members to join their established electrical business based in Geraldine. Geraldine is a short 40min commute from both Ashburton and Timaru.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside an experienced team, gain exposure to a wide variety of electrical work, and build your career with a supportive employer.

What’s on offer:

Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Rostered on-call component (for qualified electricians).

The company offers a varied workload including:

50% dairy shed and industrial electrical work.
50% residential and commercial electrical work.
Supportive team environment with opportuntities to grow your skills

About You:

Qualified Electrician:

Current New Zealand Electrical Registration and practising licence (or the ability to obtain one).
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Full New Zealand driver’s licence.

2nd + Year Electrical Apprentice:

Currently completing your electrical apprenticeship (minimum 2nd year).
Eager to learn and develop your skills.
Reliable, hardworking, and motivated.
Able to work well as part of a team.
Full driver’s licence (or restricted licence) preferred.
